  • Robbery... man it was my childhood home

My Dad was robbed ....well sorta

Two weeks before the passing of my Grandfather my dad had started moving in with my grandparents because my Grandfather had Alzheimer and my Grandmother needed help around the house...so when my grandfather passed away my father stayed in the house to help my Grandmother.

To do this my dad had to get rid of his trailer and decided to place free trailer you pick-up ad on Craigs list. One guy agreed but never showed up so he got another. My Dad went up to the Trailer Park to look at the trailer before the new guy came to look it over. When he opened the door he found out....HE WAS ROBBED.

There have been quite a few robberies of cars in the area

Who ever took the items gutted the place here is a list of some of the things taken according to what my dad told me.....

    All the copper piping
    A Stove
    An Oven
    The Heater for the Trailer
    The Water Heater
The Oil Tank to the Heater with all the oil in it
    Propane Tanks
    A Lawnmower

Now He Has to Meet with the other guy to see if he still wants to take the trail even thought the "money" pieces that would make the job worth the time are gone. So now my father might have to either demo the trailer himself or find another way to get rid of it.

So my Dad was robbed of something he was will to give for free if they got rid of the whole trailer.

To a degree it makes me wonder technically was it a robbery or just someone who didn't understand the terms of the acquisition of the items?

Just Kidding....It was a robbery and someone took something and placed my dad in a bad situation but Either way I hope that it went to someone who needed it and I know that YHVH will work it out for the best in the end.
